Is the scan really free?: Yes. The 30-second scan and the public score page are 100% free and require no credit card. We only ask for an account when you want history, weekly re-scans, competitor tracking, or the AI-engine deep-dive.
What does the score actually measure?: We run 53 evidence-grounded checks across three dimensions: classic SEO (indexability, schema, performance), AEO (citation worthiness, snippet quality, answer-engine fit), and GEO (generative-engine prompt coverage). Each check ships with a one-line fix.
Which AI engines do you probe?: All 8: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Llama 3.1, DeepSeek, Grok, Mistral Large. 3 are called on their vendor APIs and 5 through OpenRouter; /status shows their live health. Pulse records brand recall on every engine plus the cited sources where an engine grounds its answer (Perplexity — the only engine with live retrieval). An engine that does not answer is recorded as unanswered; nothing is simulated.
